There are four lamps used to show brake system operation and malfunctions.
The BRAKE warning lamp in the instrument cluster alerts the driver of a malfunction in the brake system operation.
The low air pressure warning lamps in the instrument cluster are provided for brake systems #1 and #2. The appropriate lamp lights up when the air pressure in that part of the system drops to 60 psi. A warning buzzer is also attached to system #1 and comes on when the air pressure in that system drops to 60 psi.
The PARKING BRAKE warning lamp illuminates when the parking brake is applied.
