Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.



2. Disconnect the crankcase vent tube from the rear intermediate duct.



3. Remove the rear intermediate duct.



4. Remove the air cleaner duct adapter.



5. Remove the air cleaner duct bracket clamp bolt.



6. Disconnect the MAF sensor harness connector.



7. Remove the front intermediate duct.



8. Loosen the air cleaner to MAF sensor clamp and remove the MAF sensor.



9. Disconnect the IAT sensor harness connector.
10. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.

Important: Check the air cleaner duct components for proper alignment when installing the air cleaner duct components. Leave all of the clamps loose until all of the components are properly aligned, then tighten the clamps.

1. Install the air cleaner duct adapter to the throttle body.



2. Install the intermediate duct, the bracket clamp and the bolt to the bracket.



3. Install the rear intermediate duct.



4. Install the crankcase vent tube to the rear intermediate duct.



5. Install the front intermediate duct.



6. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the air cleaner assembly.
7. Install the IAT sensor harness connector.



8. Install the clamps and the MAF sensor to the front intermediate duct and to the air cleaner outlet duct.



9. Install the MAF sensor harness connector.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

10. Align ducts and tighten all clamps

Tighten
Tighten all clamps to 4N·m (35 lb. in.)

11. Connect the negative battery cable.
