Removal Procedure
  1. Install a 3/8 inch drive wrench on the drive belt tensioner arm and rotate the arm counterclockwise.

    2. Object Number: 240478 Size: SH
  2. Remove the drive belt from the drive belt tensioner pulley.

    3. Object Number: 279365 Size: SH
  3. Remove the drive belt from the drive belt tensioner, if equipped with dual generators.
  4. Slowly release the tension on the drive belt tensioner arm.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 240478 Size: SH
  1. Install the drive belt over all the pulleys except the drive belt tensioner pulley.

    2. Object Number: 279365 Size: SH
  2. Install the drive belt over all the pulleys except the tensioner pulley, if equipped with dual generators.
  3. Install a 3/8 inch drive wrench on the drive belt tensioner arm and rotate the arm counterclockwise.
  4. Install the drive belt on the drive belt tensioner pulley.
  5. Slowly release the tension on the drive belt tensioner arm.
  6. Confirm That the drive belt is properly seated in all the pulleys and is properly routed before starting the vehicle.
