  1. Object Number: 29032  Size: SH

    Important: The batteries must be fully charged before adjusting the voltage regulator.

  2. Shut off all the electrical accessories.
  3. Start the engine. Run the engine at approximately 1200 rpm.
  4. Connect a voltmeter across the battery terminals.
  5. Remove the plastic screw from the regulator access hole and insert a small screwdrive).
  6. NOTICE: Do not force the adjustment screw past the stops at either end of the adjustment range in order to avoid regulator damage.

  7. Engage the screwdriver in the adjustment screw inside the regulator. Turn the adjustment screw clockwise in order to increase the voltage or counterclockwise in order to decrease the voltage.
  8. Set the voltage to a reading between 13.8 - 14.1 volts.
  9. If the adjustment screw will not turn far enough to allow the voltage to be set between 13.8 - 4.1 volts, replace the regulator.
  10. Replace the plastic screw in order to seal the voltage adjustment access hole.
