Removal Procedure
- Place a drain pan beneath the oil cooler.
- Raise the hose to prevent drainage of the fluid.
- Cap or tape the ends of the hose and the pump to prevent dirt
from entering the system.
- Disconnect the power steering hoses at
the power steering fluid cooler.
- Remove the retaining bolts, washers, and the power steering fluid
cooler from the radiator fan.
- Remove the bracket mounting bolts, the washers, the nuts and the
brackets from the power steering oil cooler.
- Clean the power steering fluid cooler. Remove all the debris
from the cooling fans.
Installation Procedure
- Install the brackets on the power steering
oil cooler with the bolts, the washers, and the nuts.
- Install the power steering oil cooler on the radiator frame with
the washers and the bracket mounting bolts.
- Tighten the bracket mounting bolts.
- Connect the power steering hoses to the power steering oil cooler.
