Tools Required

1. Install the J 9625-A onto the rear of the compressor.



2. Connect the gage charging lines with the J 39500 .
3. Pressurize the suction and the high-side of the compressor with R134a refrigerant.



4. With the compressor in the horizontal position, rotate the compressor shaft several turns by hand in the normal direction of rotation.

If necessary, temporarily install a nut onto the shaft. There is an M9 x 1.25 thread on the shaft.




5. Leak test the seal area.
6. Correct any leaks found.



7. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging . If necessary, remove the shaft nut.
