Oil Return Procedure Seltec TM-16HD

There is a close relationship between compressor oil and refrigerant because during normal operation, some oil circulates with the refrigerant through the system. You must run the compressor before you check the amount of oil in the system, or you replace any system component. Do the following steps to complete the procedure:

1. If the amount of refrigerant in the systems has decreased, charge the systems to the proper amount of refrigerant.
2. Open all vehicle windows and doors.
3. Run the blower at maximum high speed.
4. Run the compressor for at least 20 minutes at 800-1200 RPM.
