Instrument Panel Courtesy Lamp Switch

1. The dimmer switch is installed by the body builder. The following instructions may vary.

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to

Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

2. Remove the headlamp switch bezel.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the dome/instrument panel dimmer switch from the back of the bezel.

NOTICE: The switch is screw mounted and must be aligned on the bezel. Do not push the thumb wheel during installation or damage to the switch may result.

1. Install the dome/instrument panel dimmer switch to the back of the bezel.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the bezel.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
