Tail, Marker, and License Lamps Inoperative P72

Circuit Description

Voltage is supplied through the TAIL LPS fuse to the headlight switch at all times. With the headlight switch in "PARK" or "HEAD," voltage is supplied to the park, tail, sidemarker and license lights.

  1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
  2. Move the headlamp switch to the park position.
  3. Observe all the lights (park, sidemarker, license plate, and tail lamps).

Are the front lamps on, but the rear lamps off?

Probe the BRN (9) wire at C400 with a test lamp.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Probe the BRN (9) wire at C200 with a test lamp.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Locate and repair the open circuit in the BRN (9) wire between C200 and C400.

Is the repair complete?

Locate and repair the open circuit in the BRN (9) wire between the headlamp switch connector and C200.

Is the repair complete?

Refer to the coach manufacturer's repair manual in order to diagnose and repair the system.

Circuit Description

Voltage is supplied through a circuit breaker to the headlight switch at all times. With the headlight switch in "PARK" or "HEAD," voltage is supplied to the park, tail, sidemarker and license lights.

Locate and repair the open circuit in the BLK (18) wire between C204 and C400.

Locate and repair the open circuit in the WHT (243) wire between the headlamp switch connector and C206.
