Removal Procedure
Important
• | The combination valve is not repairable and must be replaced as
an assembly. |
• | Do not let brake fluid contact any painted surface. |
- Remove the hydraulic pipes from the combination
valve.
Plug the pipes to prevent the loss of fluid or the entrance of dirt.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the warning switch.
- Remove the nuts, bolts, and washers.
- Remove the combination valve.
Installation Procedure
- Install the combination valve.
- Install the bolts, nuts, and washers.
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
- Connect the electrical connector to the warning switch.
- Connect the hydraulic pipes to the combination valve.
- Bleed the brake system. Refer to Bleeding the Brake Hydraulic
System.
