Removal Procedure

Important

    • The combination valve is not repairable and must be replaced as an assembly.
    • Do not let brake fluid contact any painted surface.

  1. Remove the hydraulic pipes from the combination valve.
  2. Plug the pipes to prevent the loss of fluid or the entrance of dirt.

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the warning switch.
  4. Remove the nuts, bolts, and washers.
  5. Remove the combination valve.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 30786  Size: SH
  1. Install the combination valve.
  2. Install the bolts, nuts, and washers.
  3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  4. Connect the electrical connector to the warning switch.
  5. Connect the hydraulic pipes to the combination valve.
  6. Bleed the brake system. Refer to Bleeding the Brake Hydraulic System.
