Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 30741 Size: SH
  1. Apply the parking brake.
  2. Remove the brake pipes.

    3. Plug the pipe ends to prevent dirt from entering the system.

  3. Remove the nuts.
  4. Remove the master cylinder.
  5. Remove the bracket and spacer, if used.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 30741 Size: SH
  1. Bleed the master cylinder before installing. Refer to Bench Bleeding.
  2. Install spacer and bracket, if used.
  3. Install master cylinder.
  4. Install nuts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 27 N·m (20 lb ft).

  5. Bleed the brakes. Refer to Bleeding the Brake Hydraulic System.
  6. Release the parking brake.
