Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 29092  Size: SH
  1. Move the column shift lever to P (Park).
  2. Important: Do not reuse the old fluid.

  3. Position a drain pan to catch the fluid that leaks out.
  4. Remove the access panel.
  5. Disconnect the pressure switch electrical connector.
  6. Remove the pressure switch.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 29092  Size: SH
  1. Install the pressure switch.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the pressure switch to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Connect the pressure switch electrical connector.
  4. Install the access panel.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the access panel fasteners to 13 N·m (10 lb ft).

  6. Check the operating and holding ability of the parking brake.
