  1. Check the fluid with the engine off and the transmission in P (Park).
  2. Clean away any dirt around the opaque plastic reservoir.
  3. Inspect the fluid level.

    4. The fluid should be even with the fill marks on the side of the reservoir.

  4. If the fluid level is low, clean around the reservoir cap. Then, remove the reservoir cap.
  5. Add Dexron®IIE transmission fluid.
  6. Install the reservoir cap.
