Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the power steering pump from the bracket (3). Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1237043 Size: SH
  2. Remove the positive battery junction block bracket retaining bolts (2) from the power steering pump bracket.

    3. Object Number: 1202281 Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts retaining the power steering pump bracket (3) to the engine.
  4. Remove the power steering pump bracket from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1202281 Size: SH
  1. Install the power steering pump (3) bracket to the engine.
  2. Install the power steering pump bracket retaining bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the power steering pump bracket retaining bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the power steering pump to the bracket. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 1237043 Size: SH
  4. Install the positive battery junction block bracket retaining bolts (2) to the power steering pump bracket.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the battery junction block retaining bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
