Removal Procedure
Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing
any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to
the vehicle or its components.
- Disconnect
the negative battery cable.
- Remove the instrument panel trim. Refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges
and Console.
- Use a small screwdriver in order to release the radio retainers.
- Slide the radio forward in order to remove the radio.
- Remove the electrical connectors.
- Remove the antenna connection.
Installation Procedure
- Install the antenna connection.
- Install the electrical connectors.
- Slide the radio into the instrument panel in order to install
the radio.
The unit should snap into the retainers when the unit is fully seated.
- Install the instrument panel trim.
- Install the negative battery cable.
- Verify the component's operation.
