  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, with the engine OFF.
  2. Turn the radio ON.
  3. Position tuner on a strong radio station.
  4. Set the volume control to medium.

  1. Turn the FADE control to the front speakers and then to the rear speakers.
  2. Return FADE control to the neutral position.
  1. Only front speakers are heard.

  1. Turn the BAL control to the left side speakers and then to the right side speakers.
  2. Return BAL control to the neutral position.
  1. Only left side speakers are heard.
  2. Only right side speakers are heard.
  3. Left and right side speakers are heard.

  1. Depress the RECALL button.
  2. Adjust BASS control to the high and low position.
  3. Adjust TREB control to the high and low position.
  4. Return BASS and TREB control buttons to the neutral position.
  1. Radio display toggles between the tuner and the clock.
  2. Music attenuates between high and low bass frequencies.
  3. Music attenuates between high and low treble frequencies.
  4. Music returns to nominal bass and treble frequencies.

Speakers Inoperative - One

    • Place the headlamp and dimmer switch in the PARK position.
    • Rotate dimming switch left to right.

Radio Display and the button illumination intensity vary.

  1. Place a cassette tape in the tape player.
  2. Operate all of the available features.
  3. Eject the cassette.

  1. Play a compact disc (CD).
  2. Operate all of the available features.
  3. Eject the CD
  4. Turn the headlamp and panel dimmer switch to the park position.
  5. Adjust the dimming switch to the maximum intensity and then to the minimum intensity.
  1. CD plays.

  3. The CD ejects.
  4. Remote CD player illumination varies intensity.
