Water deflectors seal the inner panel. Water deflectors prevent water from entering into the body. A strip of adhesive between the deflector and the door secures the deflector.

1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .



2. Remove the water deflector.

2.1.	Using a flat-blade tool, break the bond between the sealer and the door.

2.2.	Pull the waterproof sealing tape from the deflector.

1. Using waterproof tape or 3M® 777 (or equivalent), install the water deflector to the door.
2. Install the trim panel to the door. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
