For 1990-2009 cars only

Three reversible motors operate the power seats. One motor raises or lowers the front of the seat. One motor raises or lowers the rear of the seat. The third motor moves the seat forward or backward.

Moving the front tilt switch to the UP position supplies voltage to the front tilt motor through the left hand CKT 287 (DK BLU), and the right hand CKT 297 (DK GRN). The motor grounds through the front tilt switch to ground G202 and the front of the seat raises. Moving the front tilt switch to the DOWN position reverses the polarity, and the front of the seat lowers.

The rear tilt motor operates in the same manner through the rear tilt switch.

Moving the power seat entire switch up or down operates the front and rear tilt motors at the same time.

Moving the power seat entire switch forward or backward operates the forward/rearward motor, and the seat moves forward or backward.
