Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 277572  Size: SH
  1. Remove the fender (1). Refer to Front Fender Replacement .
  2. Remove the flare-to-fender screws (2) around the wheel opening.
  3. Remove the fender-to-flare nut at each end of the flare (3) from inside of the fender.
  4. Remove the flare.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 277572  Size: SH
  1. Install the flare (3) to the fender (1).
  2. Install one screw (2) through the flare to the center of the fender.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the nuts to the flare at each end inside the fender.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the flare-to-fender nuts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  6. Install the flare-to-fender screws starting at the center.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the flare to the fender screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  8. Install the fender to the vehicle. Refer to Front Fender Replacement .
