OUTPUT SHAFT SPEEDO GEAR CLIP HOLE LOCATION 700R4

MODELS: C/K/S/T 1500-2500 SERIES TRUCKS WITH RPO MXO 700-R-4 * 4-SPEED AUTOMATIC OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION

Beginning in September, 1982, some 700-R-4 transmission output shafts will be manufactured with two (2) speedo clip holes.

To properly install a speedo gear on these shafts, the clip holes must be referenced relative to the yoke spline end of the shaft as follows:
