T.V. EXHAUST VALVE THM 700-R4 TO CORRECT SERVICE MANUAL

MODELS: 1982 AND 1983 LIGHT DUTY TRUCKS WITH THM 700-R4 TRANSMISSION

The T.V. exhaust valve, which is shown in the 1982 and 1983 service manuals, was never released into production on any THM 700-R4 transmission.

Delete any reference to the T.V. exhaust valve in the 1982 and 1983 service manuals.

Should the T.V. cable become disconnected or even break, the resulting condition would be early or soft shifts.
