SOME OWNERS MAY COMMENT THAT THE DOOR STRIKER RATTLES WHEN THEY DRIVE OVER BUMPS.
THE DOOR LOCK/LATCH OPENING DOES NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH CLEARANCE FOR THE DOOR TO MOVE ON THE STRIKER UNDER SEVERE ROAD CONDITIONS.
A NEW DOOR LOCK/LATCH ASSEMBLY (P/N 16629102(RH)/16629103(LH)) HAS BEEN DESIGNED WITH A WIDER LATCH OPENING.
1. REMOVE THE DOOR TRIM PANEL. PLEASE REFER TO SECTION 10A1 DOORS IN THE X-9331 LIGHT DUTY SERVICE MANUAL. 2. REMOVE THE SCREWS FROM THE DOOR MODULE. TILT THE MODULE OUTWARD AT THE TOP. 3.
