1. Turn OFF the ignition switch.
2. Disconnect the generator connector.
3. Turn ON the ignition switch.

Does the battery indicator remain lit?

1. Locate and repair a short to ground in BRN (25) wire from the generator connector to the I/P Cluster connector.
2. If BRN (25) wire tested OK, replace the I/P cluster.
