Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Raise the vehicle and support with safety stands. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

    3. Object Number: 181988 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil pan drain plug and drain the engine oil.
  4. Remove the oil filter from the engine block.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 181988 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil filter to the engine block. Refer to the oil filter manufaturers torque sepcifications as listed on there product packaging.
  2. Install the drain plug to the oil pan.
  3. Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  4. Fill the crankcase with oil. Refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities in General Information.
  5. Close the hood.
