Removal Procedure
- Install a 3/8 inch drive wrench on the tensioner arm and rotate the arm counterclockwise.
- Remove the drive belt.
- Slowly release the tension on the tensioner arm.
Installation Procedure
- Route the belt over all the pulleys except the tensioner arm.
- Observe belt routing for vehicles without air conditioning.
- Observe belt routing for vehicles with air conditioning.
- Install a 3/8 inch drive wrench on the tensioner arm and rotate the arm counterclockwise.
- Install the belt over the tensioner arm pulley.
- Slowly release the tension on the tensioner arm.
- Confirm that the belt is properly routed.
