This bulletin is being revised to add model years. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 04-07-30-008 (Section 07 -- Transmission/Transaxle).
This bulletin is being issued as a reminder regarding Aisin Transmission fluid service intervals.
The Owner's Manual recommends that the Automatic Transmission fluid and external (spin-on) filter be changed every 41,600 km (26,000 mi). It is not REQUIRED to change the internal transmission valve body filter.
After servicing the transmission, the fluid level MUST be set/adjusted correctly. Refer to Corporate Bulletin Number 02-07-30-007 for the proper automatic transmission fluid adjustment procedure.
Notice: If the transmission fluid level is overfilled or underfilled, it may damage the transmission.
