Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the washer solvent from the solvent container.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the washer pumps.
  3. Disconnect the hoses from the washer pumps.

  4. Object Number: 429881  Size: SH
  5. Remove the screw and the solvent container from the vehicle.

  6. Object Number: 429882  Size: SH
  7. Remove the washer pumps and grommets from the solvent container.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 429882  Size: SH
  1. Install the washer pumps and grommets onto the solvent container.

  2. Object Number: 429881  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the solvent container onto the vehicle with the screw.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  5. Connect the hoses to the washer pumps.
  6. Connect the electrical connectors to the washer pumps.
  7. Refill the washer solvent in the solvent container.
