Important: The audio signal can be identified as a fluctuating AC voltage. Measure from the channel input cavity to the channel common ground cavity.

  1. Verify that the amplifier is connected.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position.
  3. Turn the radio ON.
  4. Turn the volume control to mid-level.
  5. Test for audio signal input to the amplifier.
  6. Verify that the audio signal is present at one input.

Is the audio signal present at one input?

0-1.5 V AC

  1. Test for audio signal output at the radio.
  2. Verify that the audio signal is present at the outputs.

Is the audio signal present at both outputs?

0-1.5 V AC
