Driver Information Center (DIC) Temperature Display Inaccurate w/ Trip Computer

Was the Driver Information Center System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect the outside ambient temperature display sensor connector.
  2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM).
  3. Measure the resistance across the ambient air temperature sensor terminals at two different temperatures.
  4. Compare the readings to the specified values. Refer to Outside Air Temperature Sensor Resistance .

Are the readings within specifications?

Replace the outside ambient temperature display sensor. Refer to Ambient Air Temperature Gage Sensor Replacement
