- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
- Ensure that the gate is closed.
- Connect a DMM to ground.
- Backprobe the BCM connector C2 (BLU) terminal B10
(CKT 1303).

- Access the gate ajar switch.
- Disconnect the gate ajar switch.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
- Connect a DMM to ground.
- Backprobe BCM connector C2 (BLU) terminal B10 (CKT 1303).

- Disconnect BCM connector C1 and connector C2.
- Remove terminal B10 from BCM connector C2.
- Reinstall BCM connector C2 and connector C1.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
- using the scan tool, select Body Control Module.
- Select Data Display.
- Select Data List.
- Select INPUT 1.

- Reconnect all of the disconnected components.
- Program the BCM with the proper calibrations.
- Perform the Passlockā¢ Learn Procedure using the scan tool.
- Using the scan tool, clear all of the DTCs.
