Removal Procedure

The outside air temperature sensor is located behind the grille on the right side of the vehicle next to the radiator air intake baffle.

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the grille. Refer to Grille Replacement in Exterior Trim.

  3. Object Number: 441679  Size: SH
  4. Remove the outside air temperature sensor from the support bracket by pushing in on the retaining tabs.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the outside air temperature sensor.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the outside air temperature sensor.

  2. Object Number: 441679  Size: SH
  3. Install the outside air temperature sensor to the support bracket. Ensure that the retaining tabs lock into place.
  4. Install the grille. Refer to Grille Replacement in Exterior Trim.
  5. Connect the battery negative cable.
