Did you perform the Power Windows System Check?

  1. Access the left door lock and side window switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM) to CKT 168 (DK GRN), terminal G at the left door lock and side window switch connector C2 and CKT 169 (PPL), terminal K at the left door lock and side window switch connector C1.
  4. Operate the left rear window at the left door lock and side window switch in the UP/DOWN position.
  5. Test for voltage.

Is battery voltage present?

Battery Voltage

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 3

Inspect for a poor connection at the left door lock and side window switch.

Is the connection OK?

--

Go to Step 5

Repair the connection as necessary.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the left door lock and side window switch.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Access the left rear side window switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 168 (DK GRN), terminal A at the left rear window switch connector and ground.
  4. Ensure that the left rear window switch connector remains connected.
  5. Operate the left rear window at the left door lock and side window switch in the UP position.
  6. Test for voltage.

Is battery voltage present?

Locate and repair the open or high resistance in CKT 168 (DK GRN) between the left rear window switch connector, terminal A and the left door lock and side window switch connector C2, terminal G.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Power Windows System Check

  1. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 169 (PPL), terminal D at the left rear window switch connector and ground.
  2. Ensure that the left rear window switch connector remains connected.
  3. Operate the left rear window at the left door lock and side window switch in the DOWN position.
  4. Test for voltage.

Is battery voltage present?

Locate and repair the open or high resistance in CKT 169 (PPL) between the left rear window switch connector, terminal D and the left door lock and side window switch connector C1, terminal D.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 668 (DK BLU), terminal C and CKT 669 (BRN), terminal F at the left rear window switch connector C1.
  2. Operate the left rear window at the left door lock and side window switch in the UP/DOWN position.
  3. Test for voltage.

Is battery voltage present?

Inspect for a poor connection at the left rear door lock and side window switch.

Is the connection OK?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Place the side window lockout switch in the NORMAL (UNLOCKED) position.
  3. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 1307 (DK BLU), terminal B at the left rear window switch connector and ground.
  4. Ensure that the left rear window switch connector remains connected.
  5. Test for voltage.

Is battery voltage present?

Locate and repair the open or high resistance between CKT 1307 (DK BLU) at S306 and CKT 1307 (DK BLU), terminal B at the left rear window switch connector.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 668 (DK BLU), terminal B at the left rear window regulator motor connector and CKT 669 (BRN), terminal F at the left rear window switch connector C1.
  2. Operate the left window switch in the UP position.
  3. Test for voltage.

Is battery voltage present?

Locate and repair the open or high resistance at CKT 668 (DK BLU) between terminal B at the left rear window regulator motor connector and terminal C at the left rear window switch connector C1.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 668 (DK BLU), terminal B and CKT 669 (BRN), terminal A at the left rear window regulator motor connector.
  2. Operate the left rear window switch in the DOWN position.
  3. Test for voltage.

Is battery voltage present?

Locate and repair the open or high resistance at CKT 669 (BRN) between terminal A at the left rear window regulator motor connector and terminal F at the left rear window switch connector.

Is the repair complete?

Inspect for a poor connection at the left rear side window regulator motor.

Is the connection OK?

--

Go to Step 22

Repair the connection as necessary.
