Did you perform the Power Door Locks System Check?

  1. Disconnect the door lock actuator that is not functioning (including the lift/end gate actuator if equipped).
  2. Inspect the connector terminals for looseness or damage.
  3. Connect a test lamp to the actuator harness terminal A and terminal B.
  4. Push a door lock switch to the LOCK or UNLOCK position on the driver or passenger door.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the suspect actuator.

Is the repair complete?

Using a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM), measure the resistance between the suspect lock actuator harness terminal A to battery ground.

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 5

Repair the open in CKT 295 (GRY).

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 294 (TAN) or CKT 694 (TAN).
