Front Floor Mat/Carpet Replacement Pickup

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the jack cover from the vehicle.
  3. Remove the jack from the vehicle.
  4. Remove the door sill trim plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  5. Remove the floor console or cup holder. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement or to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement .
  6. Remove the body side trim panels. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement .
  7. Remove the body hinge trim panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side and to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side .

  8. Object Number: 303491  Size: SH
  9. Remove the carpet or mat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 303491  Size: SH

    Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

  1. Install the carpet or mat to the vehicle.
  2. Install the body hinge trim panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side and to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  3. Install the body side trim panels. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Install the floor console or cup holder. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement or to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement .
  5. Install the door sill trim plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  6. Install the jack to the vehicle.
  7. Install the jack cover to the vehicle.
  8. Install the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement in Seats.

Front Floor Mat/Carpet Replacement Extended Cab

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the jack cover from the vehicle.
  3. Remove the jack from the vehicle.
  4. Remove the door sill trim plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  5. Remove the floor console or cup holder. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement or to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement .
  6. Remove the body side trim panels. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement .
  7. For the extended cab with rear side door only, remove the C-pillar trim panel. Refer to Third Pillar Trim Replacement .
  8. Remove the body hinge trim panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side and to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side .

  10. Remove the carpet or mat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the carpet or mat to the vehicle.
  2. Install the body hinge trim panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side and to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  3. For the extended cab with rear side door, install the C-pillar trim panel. Refer to Third Pillar Trim Replacement .
  4. Install the body side trim panels. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Install the floor console or cup holder. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement or to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement .
  6. Install the door sill trim plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  7. Install the jack to the vehicle.
  8. Install the jack cover to the vehicle.
  9. Install the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement in Seats.

Front Floor Mat/Carpet Replacement Utility

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the rear seat belt buckles from the floor. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement in Seat Belts.
  4. Remove the door sill trim plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  5. For four-door models only, remove the front side door lock pillar garnish moldings. Refer to Side Door Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
  6. For four-door models only, remove the C-pillar lower trim panels. Refer to Third Pillar Trim Replacement .
  7. Remove the body side trim panels as necessary. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement .
  8. Remove the floor console or cup holder, if equipped. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement or to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement .
  9. Remove the body hinge pillar trim panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side and to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side .

  11. Remove the carpet or mat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  3. Install the floor console or cup holder, if equipped. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement or to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement .
  4. Install the body side trim panels as necessary. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. For four-door models, install the C-pillar lower trim panels. Refer to Third Pillar Trim Replacement .
  6. For four-door models, install the front side door lock pillar garnish moldings. Refer to Side Door Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
  7. Install the door sill trim plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  8. Install the rear seat belt buckles to the floor. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement in Seat Belts.
  9. Install the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
  10. Install the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement in Seats.
