Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the trim plate.

    3. Object Number: 298915 Size: SH
  3. Separate the J-strips from the seat bottom frame.

    4. Important: Do not damage the seat fabric when removing the velcro retaining cover.

  4. Separate the velcro strips that retain the seat pad to the cover.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connections, as needed.
  6. Remove the seat back release lever, if equipped. Refer to Seat Back Recliner Handle Replacement .
  7. Remove the manual recliner (manual lumbar knob) lever, if equipped.
  8. Remove the power lumbar control switch, if equipped. Refer to Lumbar Switch Replacement .
  9. Remove the power seat control switch, if equipped. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .
  10. Remove the seat back from the seat bottom bolts.
  11. Remove the seat belt holder bolt.
  12. Remove the bracket bolt for the seat trim plate screws.
  13. Remove the pivot bolt from the seat back and seat bottom.
  14. Disconnect the electrical connections, as needed.
  15. Remove the seat bottom from the seat frame.
  16. Remove the seat bottom pad from the seat bottom cover.
  17. Remove the seat bottom cover from the seat bottom.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the seat bottom cover to the seat bottom.
  2. Install the seat bottom pad to the seat bottom cover.
  3. Install the seat bottom to the seat frame.
  4. Connect the electrical connections, as needed.
  5. Install the pivot bolt to the seat back and the seat bottom.
  6. Install the bracket bolt for the seat trim plate screws.
  7. Install the seat belt holder bolt.
  8. Install the seat back to seat bottom bolts.
  9. Install the power seat control switch, if equipped. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .
  10. Install the seat back release lever, if equipped. Refer to Seat Back Recliner Handle Replacement .
  11. Install the power lumbar switch, if equipped. Refer to Lumbar Switch Replacement .
  12. Install the manual recliner (manual lumbar knob) lever, if equipped.
  13. Connect the electrical connections, as needed.
  14. Engage the velcro strips that retain the seat pad to the cover.

    15. Object Number: 298915 Size: SH
  15. Engage the J-strips to the seat bottom frame.
  16. Install the trim plate.
  17. Install the seat to the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement .
