The following substances cause non-greasy stains:

    • Catsup
    • Black coffee
    • Egg
    • Fruit
    • Fruit juice
    • Milk
    • Soft drinks
    • Wine
    • Vomit
    • Blood
    • Urine

In order to clean a non-greasy stain, perform the following steps:

    • Carefully scrape off the excess matter.
    • Sponge the stain with cool water.
    • If the stain remains, use a multi-purpose foam-type cleaner or equivalent in order to remove the stain.

In order to remove an odor left over after cleaning vomit or urine, perform the following steps:

    • Treat the area with a water and baking soda solution of 5 mm (1 teaspoon) of baking soda to 250 mm (1 cup) of lukewarm water.
    • If needed, clean the area lightly with a solvent-type fabric cleaner.
