Removal Procedure
- Open and support the endgate.
- Gently pry up the retaining clips in order to remove the lower end of the endgate strut from the ball stud on the endgate.
- Gently pry up the retaining clip in order to remove the upper end of the endgate strut from the ball stud on the body.
- Remove the strut from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Push on the end of the strut in order to install the upper end of the endgate strut to the ball stud on the body.
- Push on the end of the strut in order to install the lower end of the endgate strut to the ball stud on the endgate.
