Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 315632  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear window garnish molding. Refer to Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the rear inner panel carpet. Refer to Body Rear Inner Panel Carpet Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the anchor-plate, spacer, washer, and bolt.
  4. Clean outer surface of the anchor-plate bolt hole.

Installation Procedure

  1. Apply the appropriate sealer to the outer surface of the anchor-plate bolt hole.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the anchor-plate, spacer, washer, and bolt.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the anchor-plate retaining nut to 20-30 N·m.

  5. Install the rear inner panel carpet. Refer to Body Rear Inner Panel Carpet Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Install the rear window garnish molding. Refer to Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
