Use the scan tool in order to read the current body control module (BCM) diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

Is DTC B2575, B2577, or B2600 set as a current code?

1. Disconnect the inoperative headlamp connector.
2. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position.
3. Place the multifunction switch in the HIGH BEAM position.
4. Connect a test lamp from RH headlamp terminal A to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Locate and repair an open in CKT 198 (DK BLU) between the following components:

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

--

Connect a test lamp from RH headlamp terminal A to terminal B.

Does the test lamp light?

Locate and repair an open in CKT 524 (PPL) between the following components:

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

--

Replace the headlamp high beam bulb.

Is the repair complete?

Test CKT 350 for an open.

Is an open present?

Repair the open in CKT 350.

Is the repair complete?

Do the DRLs operate?

Go to Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Headlamps Inoperative

1. Remove the DRL relay.
2. Test for continuity at the following locations:

•	UBEC cavity for pin 4 of the DRL relay

•

Ground

Is continuity present?

Replace the underhood bussed electrical center (UBEC).

Is the repair complete?

Replace the DRL relay.
