The wiper motor receives battery voltage at terminal B (CKT 391/393) and terminal C (CKT 1240) during both low-speed and high-speed operation. Voltage is always present in CKT 1240. The wiper cutout switch must be closed for voltage to be present in CKT 391/393. Thus, the switch must be closed for the wiper to operate.
If the wiper switch is in WASH, the wiper motor receives battery voltage at terminal D (CKT 392). The wiper motor circuit board continues the wiper operation for approximately 3 wipe cycles, after you release the switch.
The wiper motor is grounded at terminal A (CKT 1350).
The washer pump receives battery voltage at terminal A (CKT 392) of the washer pump connector. The washer pump operates only as long as you hold the wiper switch in the WASH position.
The washer pump is grounded through CKT 350.
