DEFINITION: This test assumes that the fog lights and all other lighting systems are working properly. If there are other lighting issues go to the appropriate system check for that system.

Did you perform the Fog Lights System Check?

Go to Fog Lights System Check

1. Disconnect the fog lamp switch.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
3. Turn headlamp switch to PARK position.
4. Connect a test light between the fog lamp switch harness connector terminal F and terminal D.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Locate and repair the open or poor connection in CKT 34 between the underhood fuse block and the fog lamp switch.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Fog Lights System Check

Replace the fog lamp switch. Refer to Fog Lamp Switch Replacement .
