Check for an open RR WPR fuse in the IP Fuse Block.

Was an open fuse found?

--

Go to Step 3

Replace the open fuse.

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Step 13

  1. Disconnect the rear washer pump connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  3. Place the rear wiper/washer switch in the LO or HI position.
  4. Connect a J 35616-200 between terminals A and B of the rear washer pump connector (harness side).
  5. Activate the rear washer switch while observing the test light.

Is the test light on?

Go to Step 5

Check for a poor connection at the rear washer pump connector.

Is a poor connection present?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Repair the poor connection.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the rear washer pump. Refer to Washer Pump/Reservoir Replacement

Is the replacement complete?

  1. Connect a J 35616-200 between the rear washer pump connector (harness side) terminal B and ground.
  2. Place the rear wiper/washer switch in the LO or HI position.
  3. Activate the washer switch while observing the test light.

Is the test light on?

Repair the open in CKT 350.

Is the repair complete?

Check for a poor connection or an open in CKTs 43 and 392.

Is a poor connection or an open present?
