Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 602592 Size: SH
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove trim plate - I/P accessory panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Release the 4 locking tabs (1) on the passenger AIR BAG disable switch.

  4. Remove the switch from the instrument panel.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connections, as needed.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 388332 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connections, as needed.
  2. Install the switch to the instrument panel by firmly pressing the switch into place.
  3. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
