GEAR RATTLE IN NEUTRAL SERVICE REPAIR/CLUTCH

MANUAL TRANSMISSION GEAR RATTLE IN THE 1982 "S" TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH V6 ENGINES THAT ARE DATE STAMPED PRIOR TO T1007 CAN BE IMPROVED BY THE INSTALLATION OF A NEW CLUTCH DRIVEN DISC, P/N 14054858. THE DATE STAMP IS LOCATED ON THE ENGINE BLOCK DECK NEXT TO THE NUMBER TWO (2) CYLINDER JUST REAR OF THE WATER PUMP.
