MODELS: ALL 1991 TRUCKS

The following is a list of paint code numbers from various suppliers for the 1991 model year. These colors can be obtained locally. BASF refinished paints are available in:

* A-Alphacryl * D-Diamont 88

* SO-Diamont Solo * 21-Glasurit-21 * 54-Glasurit-54 * S-Limco Select * L-Limco Supreme Gold * M-Miracryl * Super Max

Flexible Finishes

When spraying flexible plastic parts, use the following recommendations:

Elastifier additive 521-111 for Vinyl application when using Glasurit 54 and 21 lines.

891 Flex Agent for Vinyl Application when using Alphacryl, Miracryl, Diamont 88, and Supreme Gold.

DF-25 for Vinyl application when using Diamont Solo.

NOTE: When using a basecoatlclearcoat system only use the flex agent in the clearcoat application.

Stone Chip Protector

Glassohyd TM 1109-1240/6 Stone Chip Protector is a waterborne material based on a durable, flexible plastic dispersion as its bonding media. This prod- uct is versatile in application and may be easily applied by spray, brush, or roller. When Glassohyd TM is completely cured, the material is T resis- tant to water, gasoline, and oil. Glassohyd TM has excellent impact and corrosion resistance. Glasshoyd TM 1109-1240/6 Stone Chip Protector can be topcoated directly with 21-line or 54/94-line colors. DuPont refinished paints are available in:

-L-Lucite-Acrylic Lacquer -A-Centari-Acrylic Enamel -J-Cronar-Polyoxithane Enamel -K-Chromabase TM -35OS-Flexlar-Flexible Additive -310S-Black 1-2-3 Vinyl Lacquer -330S-White 1-2-3 Vinyl Lacquer -V-Lucite Vinyl

IMPORTANT Vinyl resin must be added to the base color when painting interior components.

DuPont vinyl resin #304-instrument panel

DuPont vinyl resin #305-all remaining interior parts except seats.

DuPont vinyl resin #306-seats and vinyl roofs.

When ordering Dupont paint, use "L", "A", "J", "K", "V", 350S or 1-2-3 White or 1-2-3 Black with the appropriate DuPont Code.

PPG (Ditzler) refinish paints are available in: - DDL - Duracryl - Acrylic Lacquer or Acrylic Basecoat/Clearcoat - DBU - Deltron - Basecoat/Clearcoat - DAR - Delstar - Acrylic enamel - DAU - Deltron - Acrylic Urethane - UCV - Vinyl colors - DX-369 - Flexative - Flexible Finishes - DX-54 - Roadguard - Road Abrasion Protection

When ordering PPG (Ditzler paint, use "DDL", "DBU", "DAR", "DAU", "UCV", "DX-54", "DX-369" with appropriate Ditzler code.

Sherwin-Williams, Acme/Rogers, and Martin-Senour are available in acrylic lacquer, acrylic enamel, or acrylic urethane.

S-W use: prefix 34, J4 or L10 for acrylic lacquer, prefix 35, J5 or F10 for acrylic enamel, prefix UB for acrylic urethane in a basecoat/clearcoat system, prefix US for acrylic urethane in a single stage system

ACME use: prefix 84 for acrylic lacquer, prefix 85 for acrylic enamel, prefix PB for acrylic urethane in a basecoat/clearcoat system prefix PS for acrylic urethane in a single stage system.

Rogers Use: prefix 94 for acrylic lacquer, prefix 95 for acrylic enamel, prefix AU for acrylic urethane in a basecoat/clearcoat system prefix AS for acrylic urethane in a single stage system

Martin-Senour: Jobber will interchange number shown when acrylic lacquer is needed,

use prefix 98 for acrylic urethane as a pre-mix basecoat/clearcoat, use prefix 88 for acrylic urethane as a factory packaged basecoat/clearcoat,

use prefix 97 for acyrlic urethane as a pre-mix single stage system

use prefix 87 for acrylic urethane as a factory packaged single stage system.
