THE SERVO MOUNTING LOCATION ON L6 ENGINES COULD RESULT IN WATER ACCUMULATING IN THE SERVO DUST COVER. A PRODUCTION CHANGE HAS BEEN MADE TO THE SERVO, WHICH PROVIDES A DRAIN HOLE AS SHON IN THE ILLUSTRATION. IF DURING PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION IT IS DETERMINED THAT THE SERVICE COVER DRAIN HOLE IS MISSING, THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE SHOULD BE FOLLOWED: 1. REMOVE THE SERVO ASSEMBLY FROM THE VEHICLE. 2. PLACE THE ASSEMBLY ON A BENCH WITH THE COVER IN THE UP POSITION, REMOVE THE SERVO COVER SCREWS AND LIFT OFF THE COVER. --DO NOT INVERT--THE SERVO ASSEMBLY ONCE THE COVER HAS BEEN REMOVED. 3. DRILL A 3/16 INCH (4.7MM) HOLE THROUGH THE CENTER OF 'C' OF THE AC LOGO ON THE COVER. 4. CLEAN THE COVER OF DRILL FILLINGS. 5. REINSTALL COVER AND SCREWS. 6. REINSTALL SERVO. USE MOST APPLICABLE LABOUR OPERATION FROM CANADIAN LABOUR TIME GUIDE WITH A LABOUR TIME OF 0.3 HOUR FOR 'C-K' MODELS, AND 0.5 HOURS FOR 'G' MODELS.
