IMPROVED JACK ASSEMBLY WITH INCREASED HEIGHT-REPLACE ASSY.

SUBJECT: IMPROVED JACK ASSEMBLY WITH INCREASED LIFT HEIGHT (REPLACE ASSEMBLY)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1989-1991 "T" PICKUP WITH OFF ROAD (ZM6) SUSPENSION

A jack assembly with increased lift height has been released for T pickups with the off road (ZM6) suspension package and P235/75R-15 on-off road tires. This revision will allow easier tire/wheel removal.

Vehicles built after the following VIN breakpoints have the redesigned jack assembly installed at production:

MORAINE GMC M2543012 CHEVROLET M2254997

SHREVEPORT GMC M8536534 CHEVROLET M8239541

PONTIAC WEST GMC M0523951 CHEVROLET M0182302

SERVICE PROCEDURE:

1. Remove jack from vehicle storage container.

2. Install new jack in storage container.
