VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985 'M' Van With 4.3L V6 Engine --------------------------------

1985 'M' Vans equipped with the 4.3L V6 engine and without air conditioning use the generator belt and an auxiliary fan belt to drive the water pump. The auxiliary fan belt is mounted between the crankshaft and the water pump pulleys and is nonadjustable. If it becomes necessary to service this belt, the crankshaft pulley will have to be removed. The P/N for the auxiliary fan belt is 9433722, which is a 3/8 x 34.72 inch belt.
