Some 1992 M/L vans are built with Split Panel Rear Doors with a Lift Gate (Dutch Doors) (RPO E54). To enhance our opportunity to ensure customer satisfaction, as well as monitor the quality of M/L Split Panel Rear Doors, an early feedback system has been established. A telephone line (1-800-835-4134) has been installed at the Baltimore assembly plant. This telephone number is effective from November 8, 1991 to February 1, 1992.

This number is intended for dealer use only, and concerns should be limited exclusively to quality issues related to the Split Panel Rear Doors on the M/L vans.

At the time of the call, please have the following information available:

- Vehicle Identification Number(VIN) - Dealer code - Dealer name and city - Your name - Dealer contact person - Dealer phone number - What was the customer's specific complaint? - What was done to resolve the issue? - Labor and trouble codes used (If applicable) - The specific condition you observed. - The appropriate action you feel is needed to correct the observed condition.
