Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 323059  Size: SH
  1. Release the barbed tab at the center of the access panel.

  2. Object Number: 323063  Size: SH
  3. Swing the panel down and forward.
  4. Open the access panel.
  5. Remove the electrical connector from the module and switch assembly.

  6. Object Number: 323068  Size: SH
  7. Remove the screws that retain the module and switch assembly to the console.
  8. Remove the module and switch assembly from the console.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 323068  Size: SH
  1. Align the LED indicator with the hole in the access panel when setting the module into place.
  2. Install the module and switch assembly to the console.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the screws that retain the module and switch assembly to the console.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws that retain the module and switch assembly to the console to 4 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the electrical connector to the module and switch assembly.
  7. Swing the access panel up and rearward in order to close the access panel.

  8. Object Number: 323059  Size: SH
  9. Snap the barbed tabs into place in the console.
  10. Perform the functional test.
